EXEDY Sponsorship

Thank you for your interest in EXEDY Clutch Products and possible sponsorship opportunities. EXEDY is always looking for new opportunities that are in line with our objective of promoting the EXEDY brand to our target market.
Being an automotive parts manufacturer EXEDY is primarily seeking sponsorship opportunities within motor racing at all levels and other automotive related events. These include:

  • Circuit Racing
  • Drift
  • Rally
  • Drag
  • Club Events
  • Race Teams
  • Race Days

Aims of EXEDY Sponsorship

All sponsorship activities that EXEDY undertakes must reflect our core brand intent and values. The aim of EXEDY sponsorship is to:

  1. Increase brand recognition, awareness and positioning to our core consumer target group
  2. Testing and development of EXEDY products
  3. The ability to leverage the benefactor for use in EXEDY marketing activities.

EXEDY will not and is unable to sponsor programs that:

  • Involve any type of unlawful activity
  • Involve gambling, betting or gaming
  • Have political association or support political organisations
  • Denigrate, exclude or offend minority community groups
  • Present a potential hazard to the community
  • Do not reflect community standards
  • Do not complement EXEDY's values and image.

Evaluating Sponsorship Requests

To help EXEDY evaluate your sponsorship request, your proposal must answer the relevant questions listed below:

  1. A concise description of the applicants vehicle/racing team/event
  2. A brief background of the applicant, listing experience, mission statement and long term motoring/motor sport goals.
  3. What do you require? (Products - Which clutch kits and qty, financial support - how much? Time Frames etc.)
  4. A calendar of events in which your team will be involved or a concise time frame for the event(s)
  5. What opportunities are there for signage? Including vehicle, other equipment, in and around the event etc?
  6. How will your vehicle/racing team be promoted and to what extent EXEDY would be involved? (eg. TV, radio, print)
  7. What other/if any benefits are there for EXEDY in sponsoring you?

In order to process your sponsorship request we require you to address the above listed questions in the "Sponsorship Proposal Form" (to download click here) and return the completed form in the same Microsoft word document format.

Only sponsorship requests that have been completed using the EXEDY Sponsorship Proposal Form will be reviewed. Individual sponsorship proposals may be submitted as additional material but may not necessarily be reviewed.

All successful sponsorship requests will be bound by the following conditions. Please factor in these requirements when completing your proposal.

  1. EXEDY may ask for 50% deposit on the retail value of the clutch kit. Once all sponsorship requirements have been fulfilled, all funds will be returned.
  2. Sponsored parties must provide information and pictures of vehicle(s) for EXEDY marketing use
  3. Sponsored vehicle(s) must be made available for EXEDY promotional and marketing use
  4. All agreed sponsorship requirements must be fulfilled, EXEDY may ask for a report on your progress at any point in time during the sponsorship timeframe.
  5. EXEDY can withdraw sponsorship at any time and ask for payment of clutch products provided if agreed sponsorship requirements have not been fulfilled.
  6. The sponsorship agreement between EXEDY and the applicant is a formal contract, agreed upon by both parties and recognisable under Australian law.
  7. EXEDY will only sponsor applicants over the age of 18.

How to Apply

To apply to for EXEDY sponsorship you should follow these three easy steps:

  1. Read our sponsorship selection criteria and determine whether you are able to meet the 'Aims of EXEDY Sponsorship' (very important).
  2. Download the "EXEDY Sponsorship Proposal Form". Complete all the questions keeping your answers brief and concise. Where possible include tables, graphical content and images in your presentation.
  3. Email the proposal to ggillett@exedy.com.au

Please note we are only able to support a small number of projects each year. It will not be possible to meet the needs of all requests and only the most worthwhile project opportunities will be considered. Only successful sponsorship applicants will be contacted.
